This free two-part adult workshop, taking place July 30 and August 6, is led by an award-winning author and illustrator Lindsay Barrett George, who has 18 published picture books, is perfect for aspiring storytellers of all backgrounds. Over the course of two 90-minute sessions, you’ll explore the essentials of crafting a successful picture book. What if your doodle could come to life bigger than ever? In this imaginative, hands-on two-part workshop, taking place August 13 and August 20, participants will transform their original character sketches into oversized 3D paper “pillows”! During the workshop, participants will piece together their oversized printed doodles, then cut, stuff, and decorate them to create their very own large-scale, three-dimensional characters!
