To coincide with the Everhart’s new exhibition Through the Darkness to the Light: Photographs from Along the Underground Railroad, which has been extended through January 12, the Everhart is hosting EJ Murphy, Project Coordinator for the Waverly Community House’s Destination Freedom: Underground Railroad Walking Tour for a discussion on the Underground Railroad and 19th century abolitionist movement This event is free, and registration is not required.

New Year Kickoff Yoga with Mindy Hill

Whether you’re looking to relieve stress from the holiday season or just want to start the New Year in a healthy & positive space, Mindy Hill will present a yoga session in the galleries of the Everhart featuring fluid movement, vinyasa, and twists. WVIA Wednesdays at the Everhart: All Creatures Great and Small

Join us for the third installment of WVIA Wednesdays at the Everhart as Lisa Mazzarella hosts a special free preview screening of the PBS show All Creatures Great and Small on Wednesday, January 8 from 2:00 p.m.–3:30 p.m. WVIA Wednesdays at the Everhart is a free monthly screening series programmed in partnership with WVIA Public Media especially for senior citizens. One Wednesday afternoon per month, a PBS documentary tied into the Everhart’s mission of natural history, science, art, and humanities will be screened in the Museum’s galleries.
