Join us for WVIA Wednesdays at the Everhart as we celebrate Women’s History Month with a documentary on Pennsylvania native Barbara Weisberger, founder of the Philadelphia Ballet.

WVIA Wednesdays at the Everhart is a free monthly screening series programmed in partnership with WVIA Public Media especially for senior citizens.

April 9 at 2:00 p.m.– WHAM-Re-Bop-Boom-Bam: The Swing Jazz of Eddie Durham

In celebration of Jazz Appreciation month, we’ll be presenting a special screening of another WVIA original doc chronicling the life of Jazz musician Eddie Durham.

May 7 at 2:00 p.m.–Aging in PA Presentation

This project aims to highlight what life is like for aging residents in our area.

June 11 at 2:00 p.m.–”Agnes 50: Life After The Flood”

In observance of the 53rd anniversary of Hurricane Agnes reaching our area, we present WVIA’s documentary highlighting the historic flood and its lasting effects on the community.
