Ha Ha Ha’s for the Humor Therapy Fund

Laugh to Live and Everhart present “Ha Ha Ha’s for the Humor Therapy Fund – Scranton Area Community Foundation,” a comedy show fundraiser for the Humor Therapy Fund of the Scranton Area Foundation (SAF).
Join us for a hilarious evening supporting a great cause featuring comedians Jeannine Luby, Kathryn Viau, and Mary Rapach! The Humor Therapy Fund promotes laughter and humor for the therapeutic benefit of our community.
Drinks will be available for purchase, with the first included with the cost of admission. In addition to a portion of comedy show proceeds being donated to the Fund, a portion of the sales of special Electric City Sweets candy bars will also be donated. Candy Bars will be available for purchase at the show.
This is a 21+ event.

Humor Therapy Fund
Comedian and Laugh to Live owner Jeannine Luby worked with SAF in 2005 while earning a master’s degree in communication arts at Marywood University to create the Humor Therapy Fund with the purpose of disbursing annual grants to area nonprofits with a plan for spreading healing laughter and humor in the region.
This year’s grant recipient is the Abington Community Library for their ‘Laughter Lab’ project that will help teens lower anxiety, connect and create through an imrov workshop and humor toolkits. Previous grant recipients include: Volunteers in Medicine, Goodwill Industries, VNA Hospice, Boys and Girls of NEPA, NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Northeast Region PA.
Jeannine Luby
Jeannine Luby is the producer and host of the weekly Uncorked with Funny Wine Girl podcast designed to amplify the voices of women, and the owner of Laugh to Live through which she delivers a message of hope and healing through interactive laughter yoga.
Kathryn Viau
Comedian and playwright Kathryn Viau has delivered her sassy brand of comedy from Georgia to California and now Pennsylvania. Kathryn is happy to brighten up the already electric city of Scranton.
Mary Rapach
Mary Rapach, voted one of NEPA’s funniest comedians as well as winner of the Big, Gay Storyslam, is a co-founder of Scranton Improv and Comedy who leads workshops on stand-up comedy writing and performance. They honed their skills at the Second City Training Center in Chicago and Theatre at Marymount Manhattan College in NYC.
