Helen Lavelle is a classically-trained artist and advocate based in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
A nationally-recognized leader in the advertising industry and founder of Lavelle Strategy Group, Lavelle was educated at Marywood University, Philadelphia’s Moore College of Art, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. She has also personally worked with American realists, Canadian impressionists, and Irish expressionist masters.
Inspired by extensive travel throughout France, Italy, the United States, South America Ireland and Greece, her work is affected deeply by current global need and influenced by political climate.
Last year Lavelle’s “Pandemic Pieta” was honored in Milan, Italy and the Canary Islands. Her 2023 NYC solo show “Humanity & Divinity” featured 52 pieces exhibited at La Mama Galleria in the East Village, opening to rave reviews. She will also be a featured artist in the acclaimed Every Woman Biennial in 2024 in NY, LA, and London.

Russell is a graduate of Scranton Preparatory School; he is also a graduate of the University of Scranton and holds a Bachelor’s in Science in Political Science. In 2008, Russell completed his Culinary Studies at Florence University of the Arts (APICIUS: International School of Hospitality). Russell also teaches culinary arts and is the Nutritional Director for Fellowship Houses.
Russell comes from a lineage of restaurateurs from the Preno family, and he has served in many roles at his family’s restaurant. Today, Russell serves as Executive Chef of Russell’s Restaurant. He, along with his mother, restaurant co-owner Debbie Preno, have provided extraordinary dining experiences and many memorable evenings in their popular Scranton restaurant.
