At Everhart Explorers Summer Camp, young artists and scientists will rethink waste and turn it into wonder! This year’s camp focuses on using recycled and up-cycled materials to create exciting art projects, conduct science experiments, and explore the world around us.
Each day, campers will dive into a different theme inspired by the Everhart Museum’s collections in natural history, science, and art, including:
🦖 Dinosaur Day – Unearth prehistoric creatures and create fossil-inspired art
🦉 Bird Day – Explore the world of birds through feathered crafts and science activities
🐠 Sea Life Day – Learn about ocean ecosystems and build marine-themed projects
🐝 Pollinators Day – Discover the role of bees and butterflies in nature through hands-on fun
🪨 Rocks and Minerals Day – Dig into geology with sparkling rock and mineral explorations
Campers will:
- Transform recyclables into creative masterpieces
- Engage with museum artifacts and guest presenters
- Experiment with new materials and techniques
