Doodle Me Big
with Lindsay Barrett George
Tuesday, August 13
Tuesday, August 20
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
What if your doodle could come to life bigger than ever? In this imaginative hands-on two-part workshop, participants will transform their original character sketches into oversized 3D paper “pillows”!
Before the workshop, children will need to upload a JPEG, PNG or PDF of their character doodle drawn on an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of paper through the registration form. Artist Lindsay will then enlarge and prep the sketches so they’re ready for the big day.
During the workshop, participants will piece together their oversized printed doodles, then cut, stuff, and decorate them to create their very own large-scale, three-dimensional characters!
Space is limited to approximately 20 participants. All materials will be provided, and no previous art experience is necessary; just bring your imagination!
This class is free, but pre-registration is required.
