Chakra Yoga with Mindy Hill
Saturday, May 17
10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Join us for Chakra Yoga with Mindy Hill, and unblock your chakras in order to achieve perfect harmony between the physical body, mind, and spirit!
While the body may appear solid to the touch, we are nothing more than pure energy. “Chakra” is a Sanskrit word that means “wheel” or “circle,” and it originates from the ancient Indian yoga system. There are seven chakras in the human body, which serve as the main energy systems of the body, running along the backbone from the base of the spine to the crown of our head.
Featuring postures for each chakra, breathwork, and sacred chants, this class is designed to help move our fears and insecurities out of the lower chakras to the higher vibrating chakras so that we can live life as intended, with joy, love and meaning.
Register today! The $10 registration fee includes Museum entry after class.
ABOUT MINDY
Mindy discovered yoga while working full time in retail and raising her children. She began taking classes at a local studio. At first, she joined class twice a week, but within six months, she was practicing every single day and actually taking time off work early to catch sessions with her favorite instructor.
Twenty five years later the passion has grown to become a lifestyle. Mindy has turned her passion into a career of helping others through physical and emotional challenges in life. She went on to train not only as a yoga instructor, but also a yoga therapist specializing in grief yoga and a personal trainer and wellness coach.
