Birds in Nature:
Inspired by John Audubon
Friday, September 26
11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Join artist Brian Tresca for a creative workshop celebrating the beauty of birds in nature. The session begins with a short presentation on John Adams Audubon, the famed naturalist and artist who inspired the Audubon Society. Participants will learn about Audubon’s artistic style and his influence on both art and conversation.
Following the presentation, Brian will guide participants in creating their own bird-inspired artwork to take home. Acrylic paint on canvas will be encouraged, but additional materials such as pastels, pencils, and watercolors will also be available for individual exploration.
This workshop is ideal for adults and teens. Children are welcome with adult supervision.
