A New Path to the Waterfall
The convergence of nature and technology inevitably ends in changes to both entities, eventually producing a hybrid of the two. John Bromberg and Samuelle Greene’s combined installation lays bare these two opposites, formulating a not-so-distant future tinged with apprehension.
Green’s soft, yet rigid contours, and Bromberg’s hard-edge surfaces perfectly encapsulate the two disparate parts of the equation, the end result being the slow climb toward the inevitable explosion when the two finally meet. In the end, nature wins. This exhibition promises to be a thought-provoking statement from two of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s most visionary artists.
