FARM TO TABLE premiered in September 2011 as a new fund raising event for the Everhart Museum. This event focuses on a celebration of fall harvest in the Northeast Pennsylvania and supports America’s growing “locavore” movement by consuming foods grown and produced in a 100-mile radius. By eating “locally” we support the regional economy and the agricultural heritage of our community.
On Friday, September 20, 2013 the front lawn of the Everhart Museum will be transformed as FARM TO TABLE returns for the third year. We will present a menu featuring the best of local produce and foods, as well as feature seasonal selections from area microbreweries. The ticket cost is all inclusive and participation is limited to those 21 and older.
