Farm to Table at the Everhart Museum
FARM TO TABLE premiered in September 2011 as a new fund raising event for the Everhart Museum. This event focuses on a celebration of fall harvest in the Northeast Pennsylvania and supports America’s growing “locavore” movement by consuming foods grown and produced in a 100-mile radius. By eating “locally” we support the regional economy and the agricultural heritage of our community.
On Saturday, September 22, 2012 the front lawn of the Everhart Museum will be transformed as FARM TO TABLE returns for the second year. We will present a menu featuring the best of local produce and foods, as well as feature seasonal selections from area microbreweries and wineries, along with country-style music and entertainment.
The cost for FARM TO TABLE includes all food, beverage and entertainment. Participation is limited to those 21 and older.
