Welcome autumn with the Everhart at the fourth annual Rakin’ in the Fun Community Day, featuring free admission, activities, and entertainment!
Taking place inside the Museum and outside on the grounds of beautiful Nay Aug Park, Rakin’ in the Fun will feature festive arts and crafts, science demonstrations, live music, and much more!
It's a way to say thank you to our community for their wonderful support each and every year. So join us, and rake in the fun!

The following events take place from 12 to 4p.m.
• Fall-themed arts and crafts
• Tintype photography by Rebecca Daniels of Lackawanna Co Tintype Project, supported by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Register here.
• Birdhouse-painting activity and unveiling of art installation created through Lackawanna County Arts & Culture Department's Shelter for All project
• Pumpkin painting activity sponsored by Wegmans Food Markets and Purple Pepper Farms
• Rocks and minerals demonstrations with Steve Carter of Penn Minerals
• Everhart observation beehive discussion with Orna Clum of Clum Family Farms
• Seed giveaway by the Greenhouse Project
• Free face painting by Happy Faces Face Painting
• Scavenger hunt takeaway by Lackawanna County Historical Society
• Lackawanna County Library Bookmobile with special activity
• Music by the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic student musicians
• Music by Cowgirl Pills
• Food available for purchase from El Buen Amigo food truck
