Enjoy arts, crafts, and activities led by guest artists at the Everhart while learning about the importance of the observances they’re celebrating. In celebration of National Book Month in October, Mary Wickizer of the Taylor Community Library will visit the Everhart Museum for a story read-along to In the Woods: Who’s Been Here by author and illustrator Lindsay Barrett George, which tells the story of a fun adventure exploring nature. Following the story will be a hands-on workshop where children will create their own stories.
