Learn with a Pro: Fiber Arts with Peg McDade

The Everhart invites fiber lovers to study needle weaving, knitting, crochet, stitchery, and applique/reverse applique with fiber arts pro Peg McDade! Whatever your skill level, McDade will provide personalized assistance and support throughout the process, helping you learn more about the technique of your choice. From the inception of your artwork through its completion, she will guide the process in this eight-session series taking place on consecutive Mondays. All supplies are included, and in the first session, McDade will help you figure out everything you need to make your fiber art a reality.

The classes will feature a highly interactive environment of cross-teaching and cross-learning as McDade and participants share knowledge and skills. Throughout the course of the series, you will also learn how to distinguish many types of yarn–silk, cotton, linen, llama, alpaca, bamboo, synthetics, etc.; how to buy and skillfully manipulate quality yarns and textiles; and how to select the right tools for your chosen technique.
