EITC Adventure Toolkits
Would your school be interested in free materials and lessons about natural history, science, and art? The Everhart Museum has created an opportunity for students all across Pennsylvania to engage with objects from the Museum’s permanent collection. Students in grades 1–5 can receive Adventure ToolKits packed with five days of lessons and activities. All lessons are in line with Pennsylvania Education Standards, which allows them to be great supplemental materials for the classroom.
This free, self-paced curriculum ToolKit can also be used to continue learning during the summer time. Teachers have the option to distribute Adventure ToolKits to students prior to summer break tso that they can continue learning all summer long! All Adventure ToolKits include printed step-by-step instructions, photo cards of objects in collection, labeled bags packed with materials needed for daily activities, and much more!
In order to receive the Adventure ToolKits during the next distribution period of January 2023, your school district must already have or obtain a signed letter of support from your superintendent. A total of 300 kits will be distributed on a first come-first served basis. Special exceptions to the time deadline may be made if kits are still available.
