Everhart Museum On the Road brings collections to life each spring and fall at the Dietrich Theater. Students will explore a variety of media while creating works of art inspired by the Everhart Museum’s permanent and temporary collections.
Color, Line, Texture and Form

Inspired by the Everhart Museum fine art collection, students will create 4 projects over 4 weeks, each week focusing on one artist, one medium and one element of art.Week 1: Color Fields in oil pastel inspired by Victoria Lowe
Week 2: Contour Line Drawings inspired by Pablo Picasso
Week 3: Textured Paintings inspired by Hunt Slonem
Week 4: Abstract Sculptures inspired by Klaus Ihlenfeld
Art in Bloom Minis

Inspired by the spring event Art in Bloom at the Everhart, students will create their own art inspired floral designs out of paper and various sculptural materials. All four weeks will be dedicated to the creation of an original design from sketches to sculpture.
