On September 4th from 6:00-8:00 pm, the Everhart Museum will host the first ever NEPA Shark Tank!
From 6:00-7:00 pm, the best and most unique locally-created merchandise will be on display for patrons of the event to vote on their favorite item! Each patron will receive one free vote and each additional vote will be $1. Light refreshment will also be available.
After the public vote, the top three will be chosen to face the Sharks! Local entrepreneurs and artists will pitch their most unique merchandise to a panel of local business owners and event managers for free consultation, space at some of the area’s top holiday shopping events and more!
Meet Danielle Fleming
Founder of Note Fragrance, Danielle has been studying the relationship between mind and scent crafting for over a decade. Her experience, passion and dedication to scent and brand development has made her into an awarding winning leader in the global beauty industry.
Meet Patricia Rosetti
Patricia Rosetti, events manager at POSH at the Scranton Club, will represent the hip historic building and event space.
Meet Michael Melcher
Michael is the Executive Director of the Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple . The Scranton Cultural Centers Buy Local Holiday Marketplace puts the spotlight on area vendors, artists, crafters and more. Featuring a unique variety of gifts for all ages and spanning the entire building, it’s the perfect opportunity to present a new idea or product to thousands of people from all across NEPA.
Meet Maureen McGuigan
Maureen is the Deputy Director of Arts and Culture in Lackawanna County. Maureen works with the local group Scrantonmade to organize the biggest outdoor winter marketplace in our area “Holiday on the Square” which takes place on the first weekend in December.
Meet Deborah Pann
Fiscal officer of the Everhart Museum, Ms. Pann will represent the Museum Gift Shop, a popular destination for holiday shopping!
