Every November (aka Dinovember), writer and social media master Refe Tuma and his wife, Susan, work into the night to bring their four children scenes from the secret lives of their toys — specifically the nighttime antics of their plastic dinosaurs. The dinosaurs wreck bathrooms, destroy vases, rock out, encounter terrifying hot irons, even do the dishes with hilarious, magical results. Each scene is photographed in meticulous detail, letting viewers joyfully suspend disbelief and think to themselves — just LOOK what the dinosaurs did last night!
In honor of Dinovember, the Everhart Museum will be hosting artist Refe Tuma on Thursday, November 6th for a very special “meet the artist” program beginning at 6:00 pm. Refe will be signing copes of his new book What the Dinosaurs Did Last Night as well as unveiling the Everhart’s new exhibit of the same name!
This event is FREE and open to the public. HOWEVER space is limited and you must RSVP to 570-346-7186 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
