How to Book a Tour

Guided Tour Request Form (Required)

Please complete the form below to request a guided tour of the Everhart Museum. Requests will be processed on a first come, first served basis.
Guided Tours are available Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Tours of the Museum are approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and the group size is limited to 100 students in the Museum at one time. Groups larger than 100 may book a half day at Nay Aug Park and a half day at the Museum.
This form is not a confirmation of the date and time, but a request. Your request will be processed a member of the educational staff will be in touch to confirm your booking. To ensure that your request has been received, please email programs@everhart-museum.org with “tour request” in the subject line and your name, school and grade  in the body of the email.
Subsidized admission is available to EITC approved schools on a first come, first served basis. Through the Museum’s 110 for 110 campaign, funding is available to schools within a 25 mile radius for up to two school buses per school, also on a first come, first served basis. Check the boxes below for more information on both subsidized admission and transportation support.
 

 

All guided and self-guided groups must make advance reservations. Reservations are made on a first-come, first served basis, and should be made at least two weeks in advance of your visit; allow five to six weeks if you are planning to visit from April to June. Please have several alternative dates and times in mind.

Confirmation

All groups will receive written confirmation within ten days after their reservation is made. Please review the confirmation and notify the Interpretive Programs Department of any necessary changes.

Cancellations

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call the Interpretive Programs Department as soon as possible so that other groups on our waiting list can be contacted. Groups that do not show up for scheduled tours will be assessed a $25 fee.  See cancellation policy under “group tours” page.

Payment

Payment in full for all guided and self-guided visits is requested on the day of your visit and may be made by check, credit card, or cash upon check-in. Please give the cashier an exact count of all children and adults in your group no later than one week before your visit.  See cancellation policy under “group tours” page. Payment includes admission to the Museum for the rest of the day.

Self-Guided Tours

Teachers interested in taking their classes on individual self-guided tours of the Everhart Museum may do so during regular public hours (M, Th, Fri, 12:00 to 4:00 pm) and for regular admission ($3/student, $7/adult). Due to possible conflicts of time and space, self-guided tours are asked to follow the same reservation procedure as scheduling any other group visit. We also ask that there be at least one adult chaperon for every ten students.
