Early Explorers for Pre-K

Early Explorers

Join the Everhart Museum, the Lackawanna County Children’s Library, Scranton Cultural Center, and area artists for museum-based whole-child learning in literature, the arts and natural sciences.

This program is free and suitable for Pre-K children (age 3-5). Class is held Mondays from 1:00-1:45 pm. Pre-registration is required and groups are welcome.

April 23 – Acting It Out! Theatre for a Young Audience
April 30 – How Kites Fly
May 7 – “The Banjo Man” It’s For the Birds: Songs and Fun with the Birds of the Everhart
May 14 – “Waggle Dance” Dance of the Honeycomb
May 21 – The BEE Mobile
May 28 – NO CLASS (holiday)
June 4 – Stories and Dance of Africa
June 11 – Storytelling with Miss Laureen
June 18 – Theatre Games with Miss Amy

MUSEUM HOURS

(February - December)
Monday, Thursday, and Friday, Noon to 4 pm
Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm
Sunday, Noon to 5 pm

Closed January for routine maintenance.

MUSEUM ADMISSION

Adults $5
Seniors & Students $3
Children ages 6 to 12 $2
Children under 5 and Members admitted free of charge

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES

Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm

CLOSED FOR THESE HOLIDAYS

Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day
