Scouts are invited to visit the Everhart Museum this summer to earn badges in our always popular Bag-a-Badge program. Here are the badges that can be earned:
February 25, 2012: Cub Scouts can earn “Build a Model” (Bears) or “Art” (Webelos).
March 17, 2012: Cub Scouts can earn “Share Your World With Wildlife” (Bears) or “Geology” (Webelos).
March 31, 2012: Girl Scouts can earn “Inventor” (Brownies) or “Playing the Past” (Juniors).
April 14, 2012: Girl Scouts can earn “Letterbox” (Brownies) or “Detective” (Juniors).
Each session is held 1:00-4:30 pm. Please note that the badge is not provided and participants will need to obtain that directly from their troop leader. Fee is $12/scout and includes a snack. Pre-registration and prepayment are required and space is limited. For more information, contact the Everhart Museum at 570-346-7186 or email: general.information@everhart-museum.org.
Spring 2012 Bag-a-Badge sessions are presented in partnership with students from the SIGMA program at The Commonwealth Medical College. SIGMA (student interest group in music and the arts) is designed to promote student immersion in the arts, organize concerts and exhibitions, and create fundraisers for various causes.
