Botanical Illustration Made Easy

Tuesday, November 15, 2011, 6:00-8:00 pm

Anyone can learn to draw easily and quickly.  As you look to the rich tradition of botanical illustration for inspiration, your own flower and plant drawings will come to life.  Our work will be in hand-colored ink drawings.  Take home a matted image.  Aleta Yarrow of the Everhart Museum will instruct the class.  She has partnered with the Arnot Art Museum, Tanglewood Nature Center and Cornell University in teaching botanical illustration.  Cost is $35, including materials.  Pre-registration and pre-payment is required and space is limited.  For more information or to register, contact the Everhart Museum at 570-346-7186 or email education@everhart-museum.org. NOTE: this workshop will be held off-site at Scranton’s ArtWorks Gallery and Studio.
