Rosen Method is an easy movement program designed to increase range of motion, improve flexibility, and ease breathing. Gently using all the joints, this exercise was developed to prevent difficulties and help people age gracefully. Set to music and held in various galleries throughout the museum, Rosen Method movement is a fun way to find well-being in a social, dance-like atmosphere. The Everhart Museum, in partnership with the Art Education students of Keystone College, presents another fun-filled season of art-related classes inspired by our Winter exhibit, Posing Beauty. Students in grades 5-8 (ages 9-10 to 13) will meet on four consecutive Saturday mornings and be introduced to techniques in contemporary digital photography. The cost for four sessions is $16 for Everhart Museum members and $20 for non-members. Pre-registration is required and class is limited to 12 participants. In this course, students in grades K-6 explore figures, portraits, and the self with a different art medium each week. March 7th class focuses on drawing. Classes will take place at the Dietrich Theater in Tunkhannock and pre-registration is required.
