Rosen Method is an easy movement program designed to increase range of motion, improve flexibility, and ease breathing. Gently using all the joints, this exercise was developed to prevent difficulties and help people age gracefully. Set to music and held in various galleries throughout the museum, Rosen Method movement is a fun way to find well-being in a social, dance-like atmosphere. Rosen Method movement is held on Thursdays from 11:00 am to Noon. Admission is free to Everhart Museum members, $6/class for all others. Since June 2007, Summer Solsticeat the Everhart Museum has marked the official start of the season here in Northeast Pennsylvania. Saturday, June 23, 2012 marks the date for our 6th Annual Fund Raising Event which promises to be even better than previous years! Anyone who has ever attended this event knows what a fabulous party for a good cause this event is for the Everhart Museum. No matter the weather, everyone has a good time supporting one of the oldest cultural organizations in the state. The cost of Summer Solstice includes all food, beverage and entertainment. Tickets are $100/person or $125/patron (includes listing in program). Tables of 10 are also available for reservation. All tickets must be prepaid as this event always sells-out!
