The Everhart Museum, in partnership with the Art Education students of Keystone College, presents another fun-filled season of art-related classes inspired by our new exhibit, The Blood is the Life: Vampires in Art & Nature.  Students age 10-14 will create their own unique response to this exhibit using various media such as digital photography, collage, painting and sculpture. The program will take place at the Everhart Museum on four consecutive Saturdays. Registration is $25/Museum members and $30/non-members. Rosen Method is an easy movement program designed to increase range of motion, improve flexibility, and ease breathing. Gently using all the joints, this exercise was developed to prevent difficulties and help people age gracefully. Set to music and held in various galleries throughout the museum, Rosen Method movement is a fun way to find well-being in a social, dance-like atmosphere. This is the first in a series of vampire films hosted by the Everhart Museum at the AFA Gallery located in downtown Scranton. Join us for the 1932 German horror classic Vampyr (unrated) in which a traveler obsessed with the supernatural visits an old inn and finds evidence of vampires. Directed by Carl Theodor Dreyer, the 75-minute film is in German with subtitles.
