The Everhart Museum, in partnership with the Art Education students of Keystone College, presents another fun-filled season of art-related classes inspired by our new exhibit, The Blood is the Life: Vampires in Art & Nature. Students age 10-14 will create their own unique response to this exhibit using various media such as digital photography, collage, painting and sculpture. The program will take place at the Everhart Museum on four consecutive Saturdays. Registration is $25/Museum members and $30/non-members. Gently using all the joints, this exercise was developed to prevent difficulties and help people age gracefully. This is the first in a series of vampire films hosted by the Everhart Museum at the AFA Gallery located in downtown Scranton. Join us for the 1932 German horror classic Vampyr (unrated) in which a traveler obsessed with the supernatural visits an old inn and finds evidence of vampires. Directed by Carl Theodor Dreyer, the 75-minute film is in German with subtitles. Admission is FREE to ages 18 and older but donations will be accepted at the door.
