Friends of the Everhart –
It’s an exciting time at the Everhart as we leverage monies received from a Monroe County Local Share Account grant, which we are extremely grateful to have received, to renovate and reorganize the Everhart Museum. I am writing to you as an appeal to help so that we can stretch those dollars to further the modernization of the Museum which will allow us to increase capacity and better serve you.
The Everhart Museum is your community resource. We exist to serve you and your loved ones – to provide an enriching and educational experience.
Your past contributions have helped make the Everhart Museum a leading regional arts and culture venue. We are so grateful to you for helping to continue the mission set by our founder, Dr. Isaiah Everhart, in 1908.
You are helping the Museum touch the lives of thousands – whether students are experiencing the Museum through a school tour, families attending one of free admission days, or individuals and groups discovering the wonders held in our diverse collections.
Your gift will help make an impact on our community and is extremely important as we move forward with much-needed renovations, reorganization, and modernization of our facilities. Monies raised will be directed toward the purchase of smart classroom and gallery technology and for the development of new innovative programming for all ages.
Our staff, educators, docents, volunteers – everyone here, who works to serve you, joins me in thanking you for your generous partnership and support.
Please send your gift today. All of the people we serve are counting on your support.
As we see arts and culture funding on the state and federal level reduced, your gift is even more important. You will be helping to make our community better. Right here. Right now.
Thank you so much for your help.
Please let us know if your employer offers matching contributions.
